Porsche celebrates one-year anniversary
Precision Cars (Cambodia) Ltd. (PCCL), the official Porsche importer and distributor in Cambodia, marked its 1st anniversary celebration at the Porsche Centre in Phnom Penh. As part of the celebration, the brand’s latest 911 model was presented, and the Porsche 919 Hybrid was flown into Cambodia – the winner of the 24hrs race of Le Mans.

Technical and Financial Cooperation: Germany and Cambodia sign agreements worth 41.45 million Euro
H.E. Joachim Baron von Marschall, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom of Cambodia, and H. E. Keat Chhon, Deputy Prime Minister and first Vice-Chairman of the CDC signed agreements on Technical and Financial Cooperation with a total value of €41.45 million (US$45.70 million).

School theatre an innovative approach to Khmer Rouge history
“The Courageous Turtle” is an educational play funded by the German government which has been performed 64 times since November, and which has proven so successful that the initiative is set to expand to classrooms and community centres nationwide this year.

German-Thai chamber delegation visits Cambodia
A delegation from the GTCC (German Thai Chamber of Commerce) has last Friday concluded a three day visit to Cambodia. On the agenda were an extensive briefing by Eurocham Cambodia on the investment climate in the Kingdom, on Eurocham committees and their activities, a networking event hosted by the ADW, a briefing at the CDC (Council for the Development of Cambodia) and a a site visit at Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone.

Germany and Cambodia to sign agreements worth 41.45 million EUR
The governments of Germany and Cambodia will hold a ceremony on 9th March 2016 to sign new agreements on development cooperation worth 41.54 million EUR. The signing will take place at the Council for the Development of Cambodia.

Cambodia exhibition in Hamburg
The OAV (German Asia-Pacific Business Association) is opening an exhibition on March 11th featuring the works of Cambodian artist Son Non, as well as photographs from a solar power project in Chbar Chros village supported by the Stiftung Asienbruecke, a non-profit organization helping with infrastructure projects in a range of developing countries.

Organic Kampot Pepper for Germany
In January 2016, a development partnership was launched between the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and ‘The Pepper Hill’, an organic farm in the Southern Cambodian region of Kampot that cultivates the region’s traditional spice, pepper. The promotion of the organic cultivation of pepper is intended to boost development in Kampot.
