A delegation from the GTCC (German Thai Chamber of Commerce) has concluded a three day visit to Cambodia last week. On the agenda were an extensive briefing by Eurocham Cambodia on the investment climate in the Kingdom, on Eurocham committees and their activities, a networking event hosted by the ADW, a briefing at the CDC (Council for the Development of Cambodia) and a site visit at Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone.
The group was in particular impressed by the in-depth briefing on Cambodia’s past and current economic situation by H.E. Sok Chenda, Secretary General of the CDC and Minister attached to the Prime Minister.
The Group was led by CTCC’s new Executive Director Dr. Roland Wein (group photo: third from right, front row). During the visit, it was agreed to intensify cooperation between the ADW, GTCC and Eurocham Cambodia in the future, and to support trade missions and information exchange between the associations.
