OAV publishes Asia-Pacific Business Handbook

The German Asia-Pacific Business Association (OAV) published the latest volume of its annual business handbook about the entire region. With a print run of 2,000 copies, it consists of current information about Asia in the fields of politics and economics. For the second time, Markus Karbaum, General Manager of Dr. Karbaum Consulting, is the author of the Cambodian chapter.

“This book is a must-have for any company that wants to benefit from the fast economic development in Asia”, Karbaum said. “In my chapter I clearly illustrate the numerous opportunities in Cambodia without concealing existing challenges.” As the editorial deadline was in early July, the most recent political trends were not considered.

Anyway, the business compendium is still worth reading. With over 600 pages, it provides articles by experts in the fields of politics, economics, economic development and the corporate sector, detailed statistical information and foreign trade figures, a collation of market access conditions, and countless contact details.

Founded in 1900 and comprising of more than 800 members, the OAV is the largest foreign trade association in Germany. Around 500 are corporate members from all sectors across the whole country, such as representatives of the large industrial concerns, medium-sized manufacturing firms, trade companies, banks, insurance companies and service providers.

The handbook is available in German language. For further information, please check https://www.oav.de/en/publications/asia-pacific-business-handbook.html
