On the 19th of June, the German Business Group Cambodia (ADW) would like to invite you to the conference “Industry 4.0 in Cambodia” with a special focus on technology in global textile and garment industries.
The next industrial revolution will introduce “smart factories” in which computers and robotics communicating wirelessly will handle physical processes with very little input from human operators. Often labelled as the “Next Level of Manufacturing”, Industry 4.0 leaves few job opportunities for unskilled workers which are currently the main drivers of Cambodia’s garment industry.
The conference starts at 8.30 am at Hotel Sofitel and includes a contribution about digitalization in the garment sector provided by a representative of Trumpf GmbH, one of the world’s biggest providers of machine tools with more than 70 operative subsidiaries.
