New Country Representative for Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS)

As of 1st February 2016 the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Cambodia is represented by Mr. Rene Gradwohl, who follows the footsteps of Mr. Denis Schrey.

Mr. Gradwohl is now responsible for all activities in Cambodia.

KAS has been working in Cambodia since 1994, striving to support the Cambodian people in strengthening democracy, the rule of law and human rights. The foundation works towards creating an environment conducive to political, social and economic development. Currently, KAS operates in the following fields: i) decentralization and administrative reform, ii) strengthening of political parties, iii) parliamentary reform, iv) media development, v) promotion of civic, political and legal education and political participation, and vi) foreign policy dialogue.

To further pursue KAS’ mission in these fields, Mr. Gradwohl and his team, will continue their efforts and close cooperation with relevant partners and stakeholders in Cambodia.
