Cambodia pushes for European investment

Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister visits Germany to campaign for investments

From June 10-13, a high-level company delegation led by Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Sun Chanthol embarked on a journey to Europe to promote investment opportunities in Cambodia. The country draws potential investors with generous investment incentives and offers vast untapped potential, not only for investments but also for sales and sourcing. The Cambodian government has identified several priority sectors of high relevance to European investors, including automotive and electronics, agriculture and agro-processing, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, as well as tourism and hospitality.

A key part of the trip was a two-day visit to Germany from June 12-13. Here, the delegation visited several companies in and around the city of Nuremberg, met with political stakeholders, and hosted a business dinner with industry leaders to advance and strengthen economic ties between both countries. Prior to arriving in Germany, the delegation traveled to Spain to promote business opportunities there.
